Description

Train services between Romsey and Eastleigh are being disrupted due to emergency engineering works in the Chandlers Ford area.

Road transport is replacing trains between Romsey and Eastleigh via Chandlers Ford, in both directions.

This disruption is expected to continue until the end of service today, Saturday 17 May.

Description

Replacement road transport will operate between Nottingham and Grantham.

A limited rail service is in operation between Grantham and Sleaford with a normal rail service between Sleaford and Skegness

Rail services will operate between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham and between Nottingham and Norwich but are diverted to not call at Grantham. Passengers should use the rail replacement road transport between Nottingham and Grantham and National Express East Coast services between Grantham and Peterborough

Description

FIRST CAPITAL CONNECT:- No rail service will operate cross-London all weekend.

Saturday 17 May
A reduced service will operate between Bedford and London St Pancras and between Bedford and Moorgate.
A half hourly service will operate between London Bridge and Brighton.
London Underground services can be used to cross London. When the London Underground is closed, replacement road transport will operate between London St Pancras and London Bridge. 'Wimbledon Loop' services are diverted at Tulse Hill to start/terminate at London Bridge.
Replacement road transport will operate all day between London Blackfriars and Tulse Hill to connect with the diverted services

Sunday 18 May

A half hourly services will operate between Bedford and London St Pancras and between Bedford and Hendon.
A half hourly service will operate between London Bridge and Brighton. London Underground services can be used to cross London.
Replacement road transport will operate between Hendon and Kentish Town all day and between Hendon and London Bridge when the London Underground is closed 'Wimbledon Loop' services are diverted at Tulse Hill to start/terminate at London Bridge and will operate via Wimbledon to Sutton only.
First Capital Connect passengers will be accepted on London Bus route 413 between West Sutton and Sutton and on Southern rail services between Sutton and Tulse Hill

SOUTHEASTERN:- Southeastern services between London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks are diverted to start/terminate at London Victoria and will no longer call at Elephant and Castle.
Road transport will operate between Herne Hill and Denmark Hill and other Train Operating Companies services may be used to complete journeys.
Passengers may also travel on the London Underground between London Victoria and London Blackfriars

First Great Western:- Rail services between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will operate between Bristol Parkway and Portsmouth Harbour with replacement road transport between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway The Saturday evening 20:15 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads service is diverted via Swindon and will not call at Bristol Parkway. A replacement bus will operate between Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway Rail services between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach / Avonmouth are cancelled and replaced by road transport

CrossCountry: Train services are diverted between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Temple Meads via Bath Spa and Swindon and will not call at Bristol Parkway. Replacement road transport will operate between Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway and between Bristol Parkway and Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa

It is not yet known how First Transpennine Express services will be affected by this engineering work

Some services towards London are retimes to start earlier from Sheffield and Chesterfield and then run as normal from Derby or Nottingham. However the 05:00 Sheffield to London St Pancras will operate later from Sheffield and Chesterfield then run to normal times from Derby

Services from London St Pancras are unaffected by this engineering work, however the 22:10 London St Pancras to Derby service is diverted after Leicester and will not call at Long Eaton. A replacement bus will operate for passengers using Long Eaton

No Merseyrail services will be able to call at Sandhills.

Customers travelling to/from Southport and Kirkby should change at Moorfields.

A replacement bus service will operate between Sandhills and Bank Hall stations, between Sandhills and Kirkdale stations and between Sandhills and Moorfields stations for passengers wishing to travel to/from Sandhills station.
